Does its job, BUT I need to warn you I bought this as a companion to the Vintorio Decanter—you can set the aerator perfectly in the neck of the decanter and triple aerate your wine. Not that I claim to tell the difference but it's the thought that counts. Regardless, the aerator was simple and beautiful, though maybe a tad cumbersome to clean by hand.All that aside, the reviews about fractures were true in my case. I discovered a fracture or two over time, which didn't bother me, but then one morning I found the entire thing was fractured. I experimented with using it to aerate a whiskey the previous night and didn't bother cleaning it immediately. I can only assume the fractures were a result ofthis and so I thought I'd warn you just in case.

Does a great job ! Awesome wine accessory that helps open up big reds! I like that it is plastic and lightweight. Seems durable which is definitely a plus. Anyone know if this is dishwasher friendly?

Small crack when received but still works just fine Works well, great stand to keep from dripping on surfaces between glasses, but don’t think this will make a $6 bottle of wine taste like a $40 bottle-it doesn’t have that much magic...but it does help flavors develop and does what it’s intended!

Does a great job. Like any plastic item, it accumulates color from the wine.I use a mild bleach solution to clean it; vinegar didn't work, and my PBW likes to leave a layer of i-don't-know-what on it.As far as aerating the wine, nice job!
