Yes! The GoodGlassware Personal Decanter has a full capacity of 44 ounces (1300 mL) and can truly hold a full standard-sized 750 mL bottle of wine at a good level. We know what you're thinking! The size is deceiving in a good way.
If you're looking for something on the bigger side that may be able to fit a magnum bottle (1.5 liters or two bottles), take a look at our Vintorio Citadel Decanter that has a full capacity of 2.3 liters.
All of our glassware can be hand washed or put in the dishwasher. For a longer lifespan, we recommend washing glassware by hand.
If you'd like to wash our glassware products in the dishwasher, glasses should be positioned in the top rack of the dishwasher so that they do not touch each other during the wash cycle. The surface area of glass expands when heated and therefore glasses should not be stacked while still warm from washing as they then may stick together and break. Hot glasses taken out of the dishwasher should be allowed to cool down before filling with cold water.
For delicate glassware, we recommend hand washing. Please be aware that abrasive scrubbing pads may scratch the surface.
Limescale, also known as calcium carbonate, is a hard white or green deposit that typically forms on glass that regularly comes into contact with hard water. Sometimes, the tap water in your house or building may be high in calcium and magnesium, resulting in a cloudy or dull appearance after washing.
In order to remove the limescale from glassware, we recommend soaking glasses in warm water to which vinegar has been added. You can also use salt as a water softener if necessary, or try switching to a different dishwashing detergent brand.
GoodGlassware Personal Wine Decanter
Simple but elegant. It would be a lovely gift for any wine enthusiast. But I kept mine for myself. Also it looks stunning with a huge hydrangea in it if you get stuck for a vase!
Great looking decanter. Has some weight to it that adds to its presentation. For the price it's worth it.
Very fragile. The crystal is so thin I put a miniscule chip in mouth of decanter after brushing it against the top of my cabinet.
This decanter is great. I can pour a whole bottle in and it barely fills it, so it doesn’t look like I’m boozing it up,
Got this as a secret Santa gift and the recipient loved it! Solid gift with good value for the money
It holds a whole bottle of red wine. Nice glass and good quality. I would purchase again as a gift.
It's a nice design and looks pretty on the table, but I found it smaller than desired and hard to clean.I am using the metal beads and appropriate brushes, but it is still hard to get the wine stains out,
It chipped when it was hand washed. A little delicate.
