A wine decanter allows you to decant wine, exposing the wine to oxygen which allows undesirable compounds to evaporate, but it can also sometimes take up to two hours to properly decant wine via a traditional glass wine decanter. A wine aerator, on the other hand, will speed up this process, allowing you enjoy your favorite wines at its full potential, faster.
